Photo Usage & Storage

Photos you upload are primarily used for creating your custom portraits. You retain all rights to your original photos. We do not share or sell your pet photos.

Saved Pet Photos (Optional)

During checkout, you may opt in to save your pet's photo for personalized recommendations and exclusive offers. When you opt in:

• Your pet photo is stored securely in our database
• We may use it to suggest new art styles featuring your pet
• We may send personalized emails showcasing your pet in new designs
• Your photo is never shared with third parties or used publicly

You can manage or delete saved pet photos anytime in your Account Settings. Deleting a photo removes it permanently from our servers.

Photo Retention Periods

• Generated artwork: Stored permanently with your order for re-downloading
• Opted-in pet photos: Stored until you delete them or request account deletion
• Temporary processing files: Automatically deleted within 24-48 hours
• Print-ready upscaled images: Deleted after your order ships to save storage

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information. Your payment information is processed securely through our payment provider and is never stored on our servers.

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Pup Prints services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Services

Pup Prints provides custom digital pet portrait creation services. We transform your uploaded pet photos into artistic portraits in various styles. Orders may include digital downloads and/or physical prints.

Order Process

• Upload your pet photo following our guidelines
• Select your desired art style and options
• Complete payment to confirm your order
• Receive your digital portrait within 24-48 hours
• Physical prints (if ordered) ship within 5-7 business days

Photo Requirements

For best results, submitted photos should be clear, well-lit, and show your pet at eye level. We reserve the right to request a new photo if the submitted image does not meet quality standards for portrait creation.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your original photos. Upon purchase, you receive a license to use your portrait for personal, non-commercial purposes. Pup Prints retains rights to the artistic style and techniques used in portrait creation.

Limitation of Liability

Pup Prints is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for your order.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We want you to love your pet portrait! If you're not completely satisfied with your portrait, we'll work with you to make it right.

Digital Portraits

• Request revisions within 7 days of receiving your portrait
• We offer up to 2 free revisions per order
• If still unsatisfied after revisions, request a full refund within 14 days
• Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days

Physical Prints

• Inspect your print upon delivery
• Report any damage or quality issues within 48 hours of delivery
• We'll replace damaged prints at no additional cost
• For quality issues, contact us with photos of the problem

Non-Refundable Situations

• Orders cancelled after portrait creation has begun
• Issues arising from poor quality source photos
• Change of mind after accepting the digital portrait
• Physical prints damaged after delivery due to handling

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or revision, please email support@pupprints.net with your order number and a description of the issue. Our team will respond within 24 hours.

Your Right to Delete Your Data

At Pup Prints, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

What Data We Store

When you use Pup Prints, we may store the following information:

• Account information (name, email address)
• Social login data (if you signed in with Google, Facebook, or Apple)
• Saved pet photos (if you opted in during checkout)
• Order history and transaction records
• Generated portrait images
• Marketing consent preferences

Deleting Saved Pet Photos

You can delete your saved pet photos directly in your Account Settings. Go to the "Pet Photos" tab to view and delete any saved photos. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your data, you can:

• Email us directly: Send an email to privacy@pupprints.net with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include your account email address.
• Use our contact form: Visit our Contact page and submit a data deletion request.

What Happens After Your Request

• We will verify your identity to protect your data from unauthorized deletion requests
• Your request will be processed within 30 days
• You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted
• Some data may be retained for legal compliance (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes) but will be anonymized

Facebook Data Deletion

If you signed up or logged in using Facebook, you can also remove Pup Prints' access to your Facebook data by:

• Going to your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
• Finding Pup Prints in your connected apps
• Clicking "Remove" to revoke access
• Then contacting us at privacy@pupprints.net to request deletion of data already stored in our systems
